Allison Tait (aka A.L. Tait) is the internationally published bestselling author of two epic middle-grade adventure series: The Mapmaker Chronicles and The Ateban Cipher. She is a multi-genre writer, speaker, co-host of the So You Want To Be A Writer podcast and creator of several courses for the Australian Writers Centre, including the Creative Writing For Kids Quest (for kids aged 9-14). She lives on the south coast of NSW with her family and a cheeky border collie known as Procrastipup.

On Our Radar
Liz can't wait for the Creative Kids Tales Writers' Festival. This is a fairly new conference that launched last year, and she is really looking forward to hearing talks from authors Jacqueline Harvey and Deborah Abela, who we’ve been lucky enough to have on the podcast (check out episodes 22 and 6!), as well as illustrator Emma Quay and author Jackie French.
